Jeremy Banks could be the best RB

No disrespect to the other guys. I believe we have a stable of great backs. I really like the physicality Banks brings with his size, speed and tenacity.

However, there may be errors in practice that we don’t see. He is clearly very talented but maybe Jordan is more secure with the football.

It seemed like the entire offense got a spark when Banks came in Saturday

Chandler is more of a slippery back who’ll make you miss.

Banks is more of a hard nosed back who hits the hole and follows through his blockers.

Both are a great combination to have.

It's hard not to like Banks, and his running style will lead to fewer negative plays, so for right now, I like Banks to get the most carries.

We had -1 yards rushing before Banks came in the game. Both Ty Chandler and Jeremy Banks are home grown Tennessee boys. Got to love that!

I picked Banks as well.

His physical talent is obvious, but I picked him due to the attitude and “fire in belly” look.

Something we’re in a serious shortage of.

I would've said Chandler was the best at the beginning of the season, but Jordan's performance against WV was extremely impressive. Worth noting that he pulled a 100 yard game against a P5 defense with minimal help from the O-line. Banks looked good against ETSU, Chandler and Jordan are still 1a and 1b.

I really liked what I saw from Banks against WVU. It was a small sample size but he caught my eye with his speed, size and physicality. It’s not always about stats. Some know talent from just a small sample size. A lot of us seen it with Kamara as well when Hurd was getting most of the carries.

Banks had his first carry after the lightning delay, and after the staff shamed the offensive line into trying to block. According to the box score Tim Jordan still ended up with 65 yards on 15 carries, with a long of 16, to Banks' 62 yards on 13 carries with a long of 15. Neither of which is very impressive given our opponent.

I voted for Chandler but I don’t think one RB will get a ton more carries than another. It’s like Pruitt has said, if you have 2 or 3 good players at a position, you need to play them.

So you believe that UT could shutdown football for a decade, hire Carl Torbush for 3 years, and expect to even compete in our conference in year 4?
