Jeremy banks appreciation

Since nobody else will do it, I guess I will.

Banks is great between the whistles and sidelines. His tenacity and aggression is something that's been missing from the D for a while. Hopefully he learns how to stop being tenacious and aggressive when the whistle blows the play dead and before he goes out of bounds.

Other than that, we are lucky to have him.

Just really proud of him! Hope he has monster year!!!

Even with all the turnover after the last coaching staff change…there were still some absolutely phenomenal young men that stayed. Think about what is required of a college player. How many hours and how much hard work it entails. You can understand why guys are anxious to hit the draft and start that chapter. But it always felt like banks wasn’t going to leave until he accomplished what he came here to do. We should all tip our hats to a kid like Jeremy. He’s a true VFL. Hope he balls out this year and gets a chance in the nfl

It's been painfully obvious that our defense has been a weak point in the overall program. I believe that makes it more critical for us to have a man on the field like Jeremy. A guy the opposing offense knows it HAS TO deal with on EVERY play. I like having a linebacker out there that the opposing Quaterback has to fear, every second he's holding the ball. I pray for Jeremy to continue to mature and make wise choices for his life.

He plays pissed off and full of pain. I dig it.
