Jennings

We could use him as a passer too with the occasional trick play. If I'm not mistaken he has thrown some passes while at Tennessee.

I think he’s my favorite all time. Because he’s a f up, bad ass and a dog on the field.

During his touchdown catch, I loved how he fought off the closely guarding Auburn player. Sort slapped his arms aside with a get the "hail" out of my way manner.

My first game to watch the Vols play was in 1964, so I can't pick a favorite player; but as the game began yesterday, I muttered "JJ must have a great game for Tennessee to win". Juan came through!

Indeed he did, he set the tone and inspired the team as a leader always does
Go Vols

Jennings knows how to handle DBacks and all our receivers are getting good at that. This WR coach may be my favorite coach right now. A lot of those JG throws were high or certainly not perfect and WRS were getting position and making the plays. This would be a high powered offense if we had the OL because a lot of skill at every position. The OL played decent enough today for us to put some points on the board.

The game plan today of the swing passes and short hitches followed by longer throws was great. JG gets the ball out quick keeps the D off balance and then throws deep. Now, I would prefer to see less runs up the gut on first down...but only a minor complaint. JJ is awesome though, he just doesn't go down on the first hit. The two third down conversions he made was due to effort as he was hit multiple times. Hopefully they realize we need to throw it more....

This is turning into a great story for JJ. I am happy for him and hope he plays on Sunday. Second chances are great when taken advantage of.

JJ snatched bullets out of the air, one of the few that can handle the all in hot pass from JG need to put more of these in, was a game changer on 3rd downs

I personally think we used him just the right amount today. JJ is at his best on 3rd down and short yardage with YAC. He definitely is a tenacious possession type receiver and looks to advance the ball after the catch. We have a couple of other talented receivers so going to JJ exclusively would hurt his effectiveness IMO.

I’m usually in the group that says Jennings is average at best and overrated because he made some timely plays blah blah blah

Well, the fact is we haven’t won any big games in the past 2 years unless Jennings has played a major role. He is by definition a difference maker, game changer, impact player, whatever term you want to use. This team feeds off of his play. Here’s to hoping he’s more involved moving forward
