Always hard to judge a receiver based on one game or even his number of targets or catches. WVU may have viewed him as our best target and blanketed him with double teams. May not have gotten open. Hard to tell.

Not true. He “made his name” off of burning Tabor vs Florida in 2016. The Hail Mary catch vs UGA added to the legend. He is a playmaker and fierce competitor and needs more touches. I assume he got few opportunities today because he’s still working his way back into shape. Plus, pushing the ball downfield clearly wasn’t in the game plan today although I think it clearly should’ve been

Jennings is sold but Calloway is overall a more complete player

He'll get more ramped up in the future. I think it is part of him coming back from rehab. I also don't think he wanted play him too much once the game was out of reach.

I don't think any of the WRs or JG is the problem. This isn't a shotgun spread em out team. The offensive play calling was terrible in the 1st and 3rd quarters. The handoffs out of the shotgun has to be thrown out. This team does best with a lead blocker and PA down field. We are not gonna out score a lot of teams this year, but if we can make long drives, control the clock, and keep that horrid/soft defense off the field....we may win a few.
