Maria has a nice "get-to-know" story on Jenna, (posted at bottom) and after reading it I thought to see if I could track down the highlights from the NCAA game she, as a junior guard at Dayton, played against Tennessee in 2017. And I found it. Jenna's the fair-toned guard wearing the knee brace.

I wonder if she even knows this is out there?

Such a good read. Jenna really strikes me as someone who has an eye for detail and is SMART. Maybe not as energetic as Gabe, Roman and Kim, but seems fantastic at Xs and Os.

I loved when she said, “We want swag. We want confidence. I think they’re getting that, and they’re bought into that.” 🔥

I really dig this staff. Very much modern vibes. It’s SO refreshing.

My impressions EXACTLY.

And look, I love Kellie Jolly Harper and all the love and dedication she brought to the program both as an otherworldly-successful player AND coach who came in when the culture had dipped a bit and who brought it back to TENNESSEE level.

Kellie had some pretty crappy luck, at crucial times, at Tennessee, much the same as Nikki Caldwell Fargas had at LSU. If you have to adjust to one after another season-ending injury to your team's best players it's obviously gonna be hard. But if you are competing in what is arguably the toughest conference of all, losing a veteran starter is hard to overcome.

I think Maria did a good/better job of answering the question you posted a few days ago. I am a fan of Kim and Jenna. I think Kim made a good move to bring Jenna on board.

Not to stir the pot but JB does use words like point guard and post. Perhaps not completely positionless basketball.

How many points did Burdette score for Dayton in that game?
