Tennessee coming in at #29, not too shabby all things considered. Also (unless I missed something) there are only 4 of our opponents ranked higher.

Sagarin always comes up with a bunch of crazy bs. I think he just likes to stir the pot.

So, if I read the instructions correct, Florida is a 17 point favorite against Tennessee. And it would put us at a 22 point favorite against WKU. (I wish Vegas would go with those odds).:whistling:

He must not think much of the Big 10

Ohio St. #5
Penn State 8
Wisconsin 33
Michigan 35
Michigan St. 44
Purdue 57
Northwestern 61
Illinois 63
Minnesota 69
Indiana 95

And then there is mighty Notre Dame #48:eek:lol:

Didn't Lou Holtz pick Notre Dame to play for the National Championship next January.:crazy:

Sagarin ranked Tennessee #29 and we were 6th of the SEC schools. Sagarin expects us to be better than 8 of the teams in the awesomely powerful Big 10 and Dr. Lou's pick for the NC game.

Alot of times I look at Sagarin's rankings and scratch my head. Although, for basketball they are generally pretty good. TBH, I didn't notice Ole Miss being so low, I think that is a crazy pick. As for Holtz and his pick of Notre Dame... I thought he did a pretty good job of explaining it. He said that he doesn't think they are the best, just that they have a fairly easy schedule.
