I think you would have crawled through broken glass for Makhi Hughes last year.
Perhaps we shouldn't all assume who is the better fit here.
That's ... not true? You do realize all of Oregon's running backs averaged over 6.5ypc….right?
It’s easy to say a guys sucks when he didn’t play.
Btw, I’d still crawl through broken glass.
My bad was off by what? A pube? That's ... not true?
They also spread the workload out and he still couldn't get the playing time.
Point is, Cook is not worth the freak out.
-RCLouisiana RB transfer Zylan Perry's visit to Tennessee wrapped up on Monday, and all signs point to the Vols being the favorites to land him right now. They're still involved with Jacksonville State RB transfer Cam Cook, too, but with Tennessee probably just looking to take one running back at this point, Perry looks like a strong possibility. He split carries last year at Louisiana will Bill Davis, who's now headed to Virginia Tech, and he would likely come into a similar situation at Tennessee with DeSean Bishop.
If he was half as good as you thought he was, he would have gotten snaps. My bad was off by what? A pube?
Whittington: 6.4ypc
Davison: 5.9ypc
Hill Jr: 8.1ypc
I can see why the kid didn’t get a chance.
Again, I’d still walk through broken glass for him.
He got there. 2-3 freshman ended being better. **** happensIf he was half as good as you thought he was, he would have gotten snaps.
5 RBs got significantly more playing time than him.
He got there. 2-3 freshman ended being better. **** happens
Again, you do realize we aren’t Oregon…right? We didn’t have 3-4 guys that good. He would’ve played here.
Saying someone sucks without comparing situations is retarded.
Kid is what, a Junior?I didn't say he sucked. But he clearly wasn't the top dog you thought he was. 5 RBs got way more carries than he did. Oregon isn't exactly sitting on a 2014 UGA stable of RBs.
Kid is what, a Junior?
3 RBs on Oregon’s roster ended up being better, 2 being freshman. If you’re a coach, who do you play? Easiest answer possible. If I need to draw it out, I can.
Our roster, we had Bishop and Lewis. Let’s just say we landed Hughes instead of Star, does he play? My answer is yes.
Again, saying he isn’t this or that without considering situations is dumb.
Incorrect. 6 RBs ended up being better. He had the least amount of carries and the least ypc in a position group that was 7 guys deep.
That's enough for me to say, he clearly wasn't a great you thought he was. Whether or not he would have gotten more carries here is irrelevant.
