He will better hope they get better if he wants a true freshman to compete at QB next year.

Ja'Wuan was good, but as a unit I still feel like they underperformed at times. I'm hoping this crop of linemen are reminiscent of the Michael Munoz, Cosey Coleman, Trey Teague and Chad Clifton's of days past.

I love how former players are constantly showing support for this team, and coaches. Says a lot.

least we not forget that Manning, Clausen, and Ainge all got the starting nod as Freshman. Freshman Qb's do not frighten me like an undersized D line. The O line, as bad as it has been at times, had progressively gotten better. I was at the FLorida/Bama game and Florida is no joke up front and may have the best collective front 7 in the game. Simply put we **** the bed becuase they were wearing Orange and Blue and that's that. The mentality has to completely change, and as more new faces arrive on campus that weren't use to losing at the high school levels, it will. Drastic difference from 5/4 stars on a team than 4/3/2 starred team.. Hopefully I live a long time and in that time there will be many faces and many coaches, but I will still pull for the big orange on Saturday! GBO!

He's in the NFL. So the ones trying to slam the guy are looking pretty ignorant right now.

Volly,

The personal achievement individuals made on the O line is awesome. As a team however they didn’t get it done. I think that is what some might be saying, I don’t think anyone is actually questioning their achievement of getting to the NFL.

There were plenty of former vols saying Dooley was gonna succeed too.

But it's nice to see him support the team.

This shows me how quickly some folks look to make smartass comments and then look like complete fools when they don't have a clue what they are talking about.

I know it's been said, but last year's team had the highest yards per carry of any team since 2004.

It really wasn't the lines fault that our 3rd string QB couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with the football. Which is most likely why they finished last season with a 5-7 record.
