Hooray! This is the best news all day.

Well done, AD Fulmer, Coach Pru, and Jauan Jennings.

We're proud and excited about this 2018 season!

JJ has been my favorite player on the team the last few years. Glad he is doing everything to get back on the team.

He needs to meet with Pruitt. And, Pruitt needs to seek the recommendations of the current team to see how they feel about JJ returning. I'd love to see him back, but their are a few more steps to be taken.

Got the impression from Swain this morning that JJ had quit on the team and just decided to come back for Vandy. Up to the team imo.

Agree 100%. He should only be allowed back if the team votes to allow him back.

Might want to to tap the brakes... Sounds like nothing has been decided yet.

Yep...we have a tendency to get out over our skis on this stuff. One day we'll get our act together. What's the back story on LSU guy? We hire a guy, he quits his job, and then we say he can't have authority he had at LSU? How does this stuff still happen...Perhaps dysfunction still exists.

I don't know if he will be back, but we better hope so. Warm bodies matter bigly at this point. I would question the common sense of any group of players that allow hurt feelings to prejudice their opinion on this, but I don't think they will or should have a say. Can you help us now in our hour of need; pretty simple question.

Normally, in a situation such as this, I would say this is up to the coach and the coach alone. When you leave such decisions to players, you are relegating your authority, which is a sign of weakness.

But seeing as how CJP was not a part of last years team that Jennings allegedly quit on, let those who know him best decide his fate.

Jennings can be a difference maker and he could possibly help the Vols win a couple games next year:hi:

I agree, but also think he should at least take the teams opinion in his decision. Like you say, the team knows him better at this point.

I'm all for second chances. Plus the guy is a baller at a position of need.

That said, he quit on his team. When he was injured, he was nowhere to be found. Part of this is on Butch, but it ultimately was his decision and he basically quit on his teammates for the majority of the season during a time of adversity. This is their decision. If they want him back, then I'll be happy to have him. If not, so be it. No one player is worth sacrificing team chemistry.
