I love the way that he uses his entire body to capture the football. He twists and turns and stretches and jumps. Whatever is necessary to corral the ball.

Indeed. One particular first down reception comes to mind. He caught it just short and the DB went for the hit and not the tackle. JJ just bounces off and continued for the first. He’s tough and fun to watch.

Callaway, JJ, Palmer... no stones in their hands. Hell, JG just needs to get a 40/60 ball to these guys and its a catch. Passing game is alive... Helton just witnessed it, so I hope he uses it more.

Not having him involved more had been my biggest concern on offense thus far. I’m glad to see he got more targets yesterday, maybe they were needing to bring him along slowly, but he definitely is a force and to me the most reliable receiver. I hope he becomes the number one target and safety outlet going forward. Yesterday was great to see.
