I dont care how many people hate on him he was the best player on the team and was a great DB. I do agree we should have kicked him off today ( which we did) but we need to support this kid because im in highschool and you wont believe how many people do drugs its a terrible habit and it is something JJ has a problem with...... with that being said watch out for him in the NFL he will come back just like JOSH HAMILTON did with the Rangers... So stop hating or saying negative things about this KID when you dont even know him...GBO!!

JJ was a good safety, and im not going to be one of those people that say we are better off without him. I will say that he was inconsistent at times. There were a lot of tackles he missed or simply did not wrap up, on the flip side he came up with some great plays and made some good interceptions. He will be missed but I think DD has the DB's ready for something like this.

Ive posted this on multiple threads today. JJ was not our best player. Malik was and is without doubt. He is ranked 4th in the country at his position. JJ was talented and a big hitter. Not our best player

Everyone has supported Janzen except Janzen. At some point he has to do something for himself other than pick up the pipe. He was our best player , but he didn't care about his team , his fans , his coaches or family. He had plenty of chances and they all went up in smoke. I hope he gets his life in order , but I wouldn't put $ on it.

He was good for the highlight reel but over rated.

I hope he does make a come back like Hamilton but I sure hope it doesn't have to hit the same rock bottom that Josh did first.

Dooley thinks JJ was our best player and has said so on numerous occasions. Since it's his job to evaluate the players, I'm going to trust his opinion. Malik is certainly the best player now... unless Tyler Bray steps up.

no offense intended here, but tennessee's record while jj was in uniform was 13-13.

it's not like he made the difference between winning and losing.

He was one of our better players. But I'm glad Dooley did what he did. No one is above the team

It doesnt matter if he WAS or wasnt, the bottom line is JJ isnt here any longer and he did all this to himself.I liked JJ and I think he was a great player but DD isnt going to cancel the season cause hes gone.

Any NFL scout would tell you you're dead wrong.

That is the most short sighted argument I have EVER seen!!
A. What if we would have been 6-20 w/o him for instance?
B. So since your teams record decides how good you are, then Jim Bob Cooter was great bc he was on some great teams?
C. The Detroit Lions were awful for years in the 90's and still are today so Barry Sanders was awful.

How about this one...he was hurt half the time and he was out of position half the time he played.

He is an adolescent mind in a professional athletes body. It is a sad story, but it is a fact that he couldn't get his crap straight. He isn't the first...won't be the last.

Thank-you, Malik is the best player. Being that isn't just what you do on the field but on and off. Janzen couldn't get it done off

Agreed on the second half of argument. Even if he was out of position he had the unique ability to make it work
