That is unless he is charged with Robbery like Nuke and Edwards. From what I'm hearing the charges are dropped on JJ and In no way IMO someone should be kicked off the team especially with the charges being dropped. Thats just not fair to him at all. And don't give me the "but he was disciplined last week"". Kids underage drink all the time and he served his suspension and has apologized for it.

Take your anger out on Nuke and Mike Edwards and lets not try to throw the gauntlet on someone who may have the charges dropped. Its not fair.

I agree, if he was truly innocent and just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If he had anything to do with this at the slightest, he should be gone.

good thread...if he didn't know anything about it then he should definatley not be gone...maybe another suspension for violating team rules and being out past curfew.

Multiple failed drug tests, fight at a bar, missing meetings, and now on the scene of an armed robbery. Get him out of here now. He will bring down everything Kiffin is trying to build.

CLK needs to cut ties with this young man ASAP. From what I'm hearing he has been trouble since day 1. He is a great player but CLK needs to draw a line in the sand and stick to it. Can you really see JJ here all four years? It would be only a matter of time.

According to Volunteer TV - knoxville, he has been charged with 3 counts and is being held on a 15k bond. He should be gone:mad:

There were drugs and drug paraphanelia (sp) in the car. He was suspended last week for drugs. That is the first mistake he made... surrounding himself around drugs. The second mistake was being in a vehicle with a pellet gun in it. Thirdly, being out at 2:00 am. I am willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that he knew there was weed in the car, I'm willing to bet that someone in the car (including himself) was smoking weed, and I'm willing to bet that he had knowledge of there being a gun in the car.

1) JJ missed one meeting in the summer. A lot of freshmen have that happen.

2) Only one person is reporting a failed drug test and that was with the suspension of the Memphis game. It was the bar fight, not the drug test.

3) From what it looks like, wrong place, wrong time.

How many chances do you want to give him exactly? I don't care how good he is talent wise (and I think he's awesome in that regard), if he isn't a team player, willing to follow team rules, then he doesn't need to be on the team.

Wrong-o!!!! He beat up a bouncer at a night club on the strip, he failed a drug test, and now he was an accessory to attempted robbery.
Whether he asked for money from the victim or not, he should have been nowhere near a car full of weed.

Your assumptions are astounding...

1. JJ was in the car before the robbery.
2. He was suspended last week for drugs
3. He surrounded himself with drugs
4. He knew the girl had drug paraphernalia in the glove box.
5. He knew the girl had weed in her pocket.
6. He knew there was a pellet gun in the car.
7. He witnessed people in the car smoking weed.
8. He smoked weed.

If JJ walked out and it was happening and had no idea that it was going to happen then all of you knee jerkers need to stop. For Real.

This kid is a cancer. he hasn't passed a drug test yet, and he is trying to pretend to be a thug. i say cut him and let him be one!

I agree if the charges are dropped. but he should be gone for the rest of the season. Nu'Keese and Edwards. as a crappy boy band in the 90's once said BYE-BYE-BYE!!!

If he was involved, cut him. I could care less about the weed....it's freakin harmless and a large majority of college and pro players do it. Some are just smarter than others. Armed robbery is an entirely different story.

my thing is if he did not know it was happening then why in the heck would he get in the car with them and leave? That makes him look guilty. If i did not do something then im not going to make it look like i did it. Thats just stupid. I would have stayed at the store and never even walked up and said it was time to go. Forget that, I am more worried about my self and future. Im not risking that for some people that i have known for maybe six months just because they are my teammates.

In all honesty...all the details make it look like JJ knew exactly what was going on
