Janzen Jackson SEC freshman of the week...what do you think about this guy?

too early to tell. Janzen is not afraid to take somebody to the wood shed. Berry is in a class by himself. We can only hope.

i think he is more of a big hit kind of player. he will never have as many interceptions as berry but IMO he will be another high draft pick safety from UT

They are so similar it's bizarre. They way they end a play. The way they walk off the field. Their frame, size, stature. It's soooo cool seeing both of them out there!!

I said a long time ago JJ was gonna be something else for this team.

I found it entertaining that JJ was getting some good hits in but when EB had his chance the SC player was knocked 5 yds back and out of bounds. Old guy showing the freshman how it's done. Put a bit more bulk on JJ and he will be very special

I can only imagine EB if he'd had 3 years under CMK

I'm lovin' what he's shown so far. Big hitter. He may be as good as Berry, only time will tell.

Can't say he will be better than Berry. But he will definitely be a superstar in our secondary. He has played well this season, and really brought the hammer. Lets hope his playing style is contagious in the next couple of years.

eb is a once every 20 years type of athlete.

that said, jackson should be very good and will be playing on sundays, barring injury.

Don't forget a thin and questionable LB corps this year.

If he could play as the "rover" SS instead of the "run support" SS he'd it'd be a different story.

give JJ an off season in the weight room. he'll be a monster. i would not want to be on the receiving end from one of his hits

My fav thing about JJ is the way that he makes you pay for catching a ball or running a route, it's glorious

He won't be better than Berry IMO, but he has All-American talent and should play on Sundays in 2012 or 2013 if he stays healthy. Once he adds some muscle in the offseason, look out...

This kid definately goes balls out all the time...I do think he needs to wrap up a little more but he is gonna be a bad man IMO...He brings the heat all the time and loves to hit!

I'm sure this is common knowledge around here, but I heard somebody on 1180 earlier talking about how his fb IQ is just off the charts.... it may have been fred and terry on double coverage..

He does always seem to be in the right place...it's not luck after so many times.

Reported last night the University was going to hire JJ a lawyer to represent him for the Aggravated Assaults he was dishing out during games.
