A part of the problem that hurts us in recruiting is lack of offensive rotation, which is a by product of us not subbing to keep up the tempo.
Mainly only play 3 WRs. However if you crack the top3 you’ll put up good numbers.
Similar with RBs we essentially swap RB1 and RB2 every other series.
So this can hurt in recruiting, but in reality the ELITE prospects should have confidence to compete and crack the top of depth chart
No the issue is that we run it FAR more than we throw. We dont throw it very much.
290 passes. 523 rushes. That includes our sacks we gave up. So about 300 passes vs 500 rushes.
That's the only issue, we arent a pass first team. We spread it around plenty.
Another reason The number of catches are down because our system or receivers are so good they average 14 yards a catch. Like all of our receivers averaged 14 yards.
Bama rushed 458 times, so we rushed 75ish more times. And averaged 1 more yard per catch in recieving.
Georgia in 2 more games rushed 558 times,so only 36 more times than us. They also passed more than we did, again with 2 more games. They also average another yard less in passing.
I really wish our own fans would drop this false narrative they we dont spread it around to our WRs.
Our top three caught 51% of our passes. Washingtons (top passing offense)and Ohio State top 2 caught a hirer percentage than our top 3.
