Jancek gone? (rumor)

Hey just read a post on the twitter rumor mill that coach Jancek may be out of here after tomorrow. Anybody else heard or read anything about this? If this is repetitive sorry.

It would be hard for me to believe... Not because CJJ has been so great, but I know Butch likes "his" guys

Wasn't he with Franklin at Penn St? Did he get fired?


Shouldn't Butch be scouring America's Universities for the finest Olympic Sports Administrator in all the land to be his new DC?

Bob Shoop just got $1M from PSU and loves Franklin. Said he wanted to stay at PSU forever. Given recent recruiting, not sure Jancek will want to leave at this point.

I saw this and got several text from some boosters i talk to. This is true Jancek is gone and they're trying to bring Shoop in. It amazes me that CBJ would be this ignorant to allow the one side of the ball that is a steady constant and gotten better go and keeping Mahoney and Azzani which are piss poor coaches. Ppl will say OL improved well it wasn't Mahoney it was MD who is responsible for that not our mid major OL coach and that came from 2 players who trained with NPA that are currently OL guys. This makes me sick to my stomach.

I don't really want to lose Jancek but I would welcome Shoop if he was to come aboard. He's the secret behind Franklin's success....one if the very best DC's in the country. For example, Penn State was the 2nd rated defense in the country last year and #14 in the country in 2015. Without Shoop, Franklin has zero chance to succeed as a head coach imho. And with Shoop, we'd be a much better defense in a hurry.

Shoop turned down LSU last offseason and Auburn a week ago. What makes you think he'd come here?

Dude, I didn't say he'd come here. Somebody else said Butch wants him to replace Jancek and I simply gave my opinion. Where did I say I thought he'd come here?

I wouldn't be surprised LWS posted a couple of weeks ago we would be having some changes on the staff.

That one side of the ball is the reason they lost the Florida game. Its also the side of the ball that Tennessee needs to upgrade at too.

Lol... You've got no clue what the circumstances are or if the rumor is even true. If he's leaving, it might not even be something Butch wanted.
