Well the students are not in class yet so that is partly why the corwd was a little thin and not as loud./

I hate to read this about our crowd because IMO that may be the one factor (lack of fan support) that ends up driving CBP away. He puts a lot of blood, sweat & tears into building the "community" portion of the program, & if the team continues to win & if fans don't show up (& be vocal), I can see him getting frustrated and being more open to job opportunities elsewhere.

CBP isn't going anywhere. If he keeps winning, his pay will continue to increase. Money not cheers will determine the future of CBP at UT.

I think we're seeing a lot of in-state talent playing elsewhere - Miss St, FL, AZ, etc. That is very encouraging that HS coaches are developing players and now we have a coach that can keep them here. Hopefully we'll have a roster with plenty of quality in-state talent soon.

Freak, Lofton had 21 not 18. I love this kid, but I don't understand how his free throw % can drop so much from one year to the next. But he's a much better player since he's driving to the basket this year. Remember late in the season last year he didn't fare so well when some teams threw a blanket on him. Again we got them in foul trouble; 3 players had four fouls for MSU. This is partly due to Lofton driving the lane more. Talking about the refs; I thought they gave us the continuation call twice when they probably shouldn't have.

I think that the misses are a result of him doing more this year. Maybe he's just a little more fatigued than what he's used to.

Yeah, somebody pointed that out. Not sure where I got 18 from. Probably took Kessling's word for it or something. :)

I think it's that and the fact he's shooting a lot more free throws this year.
