Just wanted to remind everybody that the James White Parkway is still closed, so people who usually take that exit will have to take an alternate route.

It's probably in the article, but when is it supposed to reopen?

You can take Hall of Fame Dr instead, do the same thing for you that James White did.

Yeah, but where does Hall of Fame end up taking you? You can't get down to the river if you take HOF can you?

The end of September I believe.

Thank goodness. I have a trip planned for early October to visit the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and I don't know what I'd do if my route was blocked.

yes, Hall of Fame will take you down to Volunteer Landing by Ruth Chris Steakhouse (formerly Riverside Tavern) and you can get on Neyland there by the river.

Just detour to the women's dorm.... They should have equally interesting scenery!!!

They just announced it here a few weeks ago. The old Riverside Tavern building has been leased to Ruth's Chris steakhouse. They will be opening a location there soon.:good!:

I knew there were whispers about it being a Ruth's Chris back in the late spring, but it's not open yet. Probably to bad for them they couldn't get it open early enough for the start of the season.
