I suspect it will be a lot more than 8 games. Rice got suspended 6 games for fleeing the scene of an accident. These charges of battery are much more serious. Both jail time and suspension will be lengthy. I'm thinking he's out of the league for two seasons minimum. He's talented enough he could make a comeback but his actions have cost him severely.

IF…he did hit a cop with his car while trying to be detained along with aggravated assault on his girlfriend, I can’t imagine not getting some jail time. I think every NFL team will wash their hands of him. What a shame.

This he has to be able to turn that switch off when he’s not on the field. Definitely needs a psychiatric evaluation. Not saying it makes it ok, but there’s obviously issues.
