Banks is a very talented football player. Too bad he threw away his golden opportunity to make a big name for himself by being a pig headed dumass. Still, I wish the best for him..

I hope he has learned his lesson and everything works out for him all that talent to much to waste.
Wasn't there rumors he asked CPF to come back. What if CPF let james banks come back then we would have a proven reciever. I was all for it

I wish James nothing but the best. He blew a huge opportunity at UT by being young and dumb. However, he is a very nice young man and I hope all works out well for him.

It looks like he had really turned things around. He realizes that this is is one and only opportunity to better himself.

If Banks could straighten himself out and dedicate his time to football I think he could sign some kind of free agent contract in the NFL, maybe just maybe make the team.

Todd Collins style baby.

The Eagles (1-0) struggled in the first half by failing to complete a pass. VSU struck first when Michael Terry fired a 72-yard TD strike to Brandon Crump for a 7-0 Trojan lead. In the second quarter, the Eagles dented the scoreboard on their fourth offensive possession. Alex Good led C-N on a 10-play, 26-yard drive that resulted in an Aubrey Ingham 48-yard field goal to cut VSU's lead to 7-3.

didnt he use up all his eligibility playing basketball for the Vols?

Personally, I don't see everyone's fascination with James Banks. He's just another example of a kid flushing his future down the toilet.

He's just another prodigy of the youthful superstardom treatment bestowed on them these days. The cream of the crop are marketing ventures at an early age and are given everything. They don't know how to handle life, even though they are only kids even in college. They get dumb because they think all eyes will keep looking away.
