I would like to know any latest information for James Banks. I would like any type of video, and articles (recent) on this player.

Also any type of contact information would also be a great assistant.

Really looking for some videos / practice or game.

Thank you very much.

I can't find the article but I remember reading one from an Illinois or Indiana (which ever was his home state) newspaper talking about how he was a host at the local Ruby Tuesday. It also talked about how he was working out everyday trying to get back to football.

Last I heard Carson-Newman dismissed him from the football team and maybe even threw him out of school. For what I don't know.

Great talent, with no head on his shoulders.

yes. I'm really trying to find videos. I just can't fine any. And trying to contact Tennessee offices, they act like they have never heard of him. It's quite disgusting.

Try getting in touch with Ken Sparks at Carson Newman. I'm sure he's alot more avaliable than Tennessee folks. He is still the coach there isn't he?

That's Carson Newman College. www.cn.edu

I remember us at a party where the bar had closed but we were not leaving until the end of the game
Tennessee won and we walked out the door so happy

I find the article, finally. Basically, he enrolled in C-N after he was kicked out by UT, but he was academically ineligible to play. He went back home (Indy) working at T.G.I. Friday's. Then he got another chance to play at C-N, but he was kicked out again following arrest on February this year. No more information after that.

Banks' arrest ends another bid to play college football : Football : GoVolsXtra.com

I get sick everytime I think of how he threw his chance to be one of the best away. I'll say it again, "What a moron."

you can call him a moron, but the heart of his problems is substance abuse....let's have a little compassion for a young man that's destroyed his life

It is what it is. So folks with substance abuses are excused from being called morons. He didn't just get kicked out of UT he got kicked out Carsen Newman too. Same dumb ass reasons. He didn't destroy his life with one action.

I feel sorry for him. But only because he is a moron who threw away a promising football career. James Banks, Michael Vick, and Pac Man Jones are all morons.

Was he kicked off for weed or something stronger? I didn't think weed was addictive and if not how can it be anything other than him being a moron?

hmmmmmm, written like someone that smokes weed, a recent study in some medical journal stated that long-term use can lead to psychosis. what I can tell you is that if you are incapable of of using it, even as it costs you an athletic scholarship, then you may have a problem

Correct Rexter. It cost him a scholarship and at least a hefty NFL signing bonus. Heck, just go to the doc and get some benzos for a few years. At least they are legal. We are talking about trading 4 years of pot smoking for millions of duckets.
