Congratulations to Jamal Lewis. He's moving up the charts.

"This is the toughest season I've ever had," Lewis said. "It feels great to get 10,000. It's a great milestone. But in reality, it's the least of my concerns right now. I'm not a numbers guy. I never have been. I don't even know how many yards I've got unless somebody tells me."

Wow, that is pretty impressive company. If he can keep it up a couple of more years he will really be among the elite. Any chance at HOF?

Just think if he hadn't lost the time with the justice system where he'd be.

I believe his past offenses will keep him out of the HOF.

Jamal Lewis laid down on UT his last year there.

I couldn't care less if he ever gains another yard.

jamal lewis never laid down on anyone. it usually takes players 2 years to return to 100% after the injury that he sustained. it gets old hearing fans blame jamal because he wasn't the old jamal in 1999.

Congrats to Jamal. He's the man. I'm still amazed by his 2000+ yds season. Pass OJ!

He did run very cautiously his last year on the hill , but I think it was more trusting the knee than lack of effort.

IMO best RB at UT ever! I think he would own every record if not for injuries and leaving his Junior year.

Didn't like him. Can't put my finger on it exactly. And we did it that year without him. He wasn't as important as he thought he was I guess.

Congratulations to him on his acheivements.

Hey folks ...
Ravens season ticket holder here.

Actually, Jamal did not miss much time due to the legalities. I think maybe 4 games one year.

He missed his 2nd year, after the Ravens SB victory, due to a knee injury.

Without Jamal Lewis we would have never won the n/c in 98. As far as I'm concerned he's paid his debt to society why can't he go into the HOF? He did win a superbowl and several guys ahead of him didn't.Bill Bates would be in John Madden's HOF (if he had one).
98 chant "Give the ball to Jamal".

Gotta pull for Jamal since he wore the orange. The drug bust was kinda BS anyway. And he was trying to avoid injury his last year at UT. I hope he does well for years to come in the NFL and cements himself as a HOF back. I think he needs at least 3,000 more yards to do it though.

I agree, but that's 12 years... very long lifespan for any player, much less a RB.
