Exactly Agreed! If he wants credit a true local kid should walk on like Skylar McBee. Steele better be prepared to get booed ala Lee humphrey

So he should pay his own way here instead of accepting a scholarship at another SEC school? Had a SEC school actually offered McBee, he would have went there instead of walking on at Tennessee.

UT never offered. He's a local kid from Knoxville. I wish him the best of luck. Might mean a little more from people in K town than it does people from Davies, Fl or Ventura, CA.

Yeah what a jerk for not paying thousands of dollars to walk on when he can have a completely free education at a SEC school....

Good for Steele. I wouldn't be in favor of him coming to UT when there's plenty of more capable recruits out there to get, but it makes perfect sense for him to go to Auburn. He should have a nice little career there. For the record, I do think he's just as good, if not better than McBee.
