The Vols offensive line has grew healthier...
Coleman Thomas has been injured all year with ankles, Jones said. Im sitting next to him in the training room a couple weeks ago, and hes getting ready to play, and I look over and he has two swollen ankles that are black and blue, and thats a young man that does not say anything.
Griffith must be letting 3rd graders proofread his articles.
And yet we bash that young man horribly.
Interesting, wonder what changed? Butch said JRM was full go the first of the week.
After watch him Saturday its not a shock. He's banged up more than they are leading on.
As an athlete, you need to know your limitations. Kudos to Thomas for having a high pain threshold, but trying to play when your ankles aren't functional, is really just hurting the team in the end.
JRM tried to come in Saturday, realized he was not going to be able to tackle effectively, and took himself back out.
This injury has the feeling of a season long nagging injury.
I'm not going to go do far as to say we don't need him for UGA, but I'd rather he rest up and be ready for TAMU and Bama.
