Jalen Hurd ranked #10 RB in the country

The fact that. UT RB is even on the list--especially since he shares carries with Kamara--is pretty impressive. 😒 I had thought others would think the same thing.

Where he is on the list isn't as important as the fact he's on it in the first place.

I think Hurd should be a little higher than #10. Maybe #6 or slightly higher around 4-5. He's better than at least 3-4 of the guys they have listed.

I think what keeps him from being ranked higher is the lack of break away 35 plus yard TDs.

I may be wrong but it seems like the majority of his yards are from making one guy miss and then pushing 1 or 2 LB's back for a couple more yards.

I don't remember him having any very long 35 plus yard Tds.

The issue is in the NFL he wont be able to push LB's back like he does in college. The will hit him and eventually wear him down or shorten his career.

I do agree that in the NFL he would make a great TE.

No way Jalen is at the bottom of that list. Even though I consider Fournette and Chubb slightly better, I wouldn't trade Jalen for any of those backs. Jalen is a bad M'Fer!

That is to start the year, he will be Top 5 in January.

We could go back to back NC, if he stays to win the Heisman his senior year. Probably will either way.

I would put the odds about 20 to 1.

That would be a great trifecta, box it with JD winning the Heisman this year.

Go Vols!

No way possible. Hurd is top five for sure if not #1or 2. Wanted to see the list on your post but not available.

I've been watching highlights of him today. Not being a homer, but I wouldn't trade Hurd for anybody. Period.

1a. Fournette
1b. McCaffrey

The guy lost all credibility when he listed McCaffrey at number 3.

If you wouldn't trade him for Fournette, then you aren't good at trading.

Fournette is great, I'm not saying that no one else is as good. The difference is Hurd loves Tennessee in a way those others just wouldn't. He runs hard because he loves his school. I remember Fournette's first touchdown, do you? He struck the pose, I still think he's humble to an extent, but that is thinking about self. Hurd wants Tennessee to win more than himself I believe. Fournette wouldn't give himself as hard for Tennessee like Hurd does. So no, I wouldn't trade.

When he runs over the SEC again this year he will be rated much higher than #10........possibly # 1 or 2

Davin Cook is a bad boy. I actually think that his game/skill level may translate best to the NFL of all the guys on this list. Jmo of course.

How hungry is Hurd? Real hungry. I wouldn't trade him for any player. He's got heart, and is a beast of a back. My money is on Hurd.

Give him the ball and let him eat.

Go Vols!
