:rock:They got together and said if we commit this will show the rest of the top players from around the country that TENNESSEE is for real and come on and join us and get the BIG ORANGE back to the top. I like what Im seeing I know we have not played a game yet but I got that feeling that the glory days are just around the corner, we got to hang in there this year but we the TENNESSEE VOLS are fixing to start kicking azz and taking names and I mean bama LSU the dogs and anybody else that gets in the way of the BIGORANGE.

I hope you guys don't give me too hard a time about this. I haven't heard a lot about Hurd, so I wonder; what is it about Hurd that has so many of you saying, 'BOOM' and acting like this guy is the highest rated recruit in college football in the past 25 years?

I am ALL VOL!!!, so I do not mean this to seem as if I am questioning the impact of this committment, or Hurd's ability. I guess I want to know where he rates among other recruits around the country.

I believe he is the #10 overall recruit in the nation on 247 right now.

He's one of the highest rated recruits in the country (#15 on rivals, #10 on 247), elite recruits want to play with other elite recruits (him committing this early will attract others), he has offers from all the top programs, he plays a huge position of need and he's instate.

That's what I needed to know. You are correct, bigs want to play with other bigs! Hopefully this past week or so will be the start of a massive snowballing effect. 5-10 other elite players could become a reality on next year's signing day at UTK.

Beech is coming to play my local HS on 9/27 (Siegel), I cannot wait to see Mr. Hurd in person.
