one of the most underrated players in the nation. Shoots it well, athletic, strong defender and one of the best turnover generators anywhere. Overlook him at your peril.

I agree. He never gets any credit, except as a compliment to Lofton, when he actually has a better all around game than Lofton. But he realizes that Lofton is the favorite and the face of the team and plays his role very well...

JuJuan has a better potential NBA career than Lofton does, but I hope that they both contribute solidly somewhere.

JaJuan will go higher in the NBA draft than Lofton.
He reminds me of J.R. smith.

Lofton is more of a Robert Horry w/out the Height.

Jajuan is a great story and a great player. I hope he can continue to play after his time here.

I also say he might go down as the most unappreciated player to ever don a Tennessee uniform.

UNAPPRECIATED...

MAYBE YOU HAVEN'T READ MY MAN CRUSH POSTS!!

haha I think he gots alot of love from tennessee fans..
unfortunately chris had the spot lot before jajuan started to shine..

Jujuan is by far my favorite tennessee player...

We're talking about a guy who was a freakin' walk-on. Amazing what he's done for himself with some hard work.

It's not like he was a bad HS Player either...
Jajuan comes from Cleveland, Tennessee and attended McMinn County High School where he averaged 25 points and six assists as a senior. Jajuan was a McDonald's All-America nominee and earned all-region and all-district each of his four seasons there, as well as, all-state recognition three years. Jajuan was also a leader and was a three-time team MVP. Well worth it as he finished his career as McMinn County's second leading all-time scorer with 2,074 career points.

people regularly forget how much he impacts the game on each end. He is the reason our press works and keeps people from focusing solely on Lofton.

Jajuan and Chris are great, but neither will go in the NBA Draft.

I'd love it if they did, but they just won't.

Who cares? What they've done for UT bball is bigger to me than anything they could do in the NBA

JaJuan has a respectable chance of making a roster. he does quite a bit well.

I agree. I think Jajuan has a shot to make it as a free agent. Maybe even Lofton, with the right team. I was just pointing out that there are only two rounds in the draft -- and I'd be surprised if either actually got drafted.

I just hope they put on a big show in the NCAA tournament!

To stick with my Volunteer State Warriors theme, JaJuan Smith=Our Stephen Jackson.

JJ is a tougher matchup because he can blow by people or rise up under duress and drill the deeeeep 3 on you.

Today on the Bruce Pearl show, Bruce said that JSmith has gotten invited to that big NBA workout thing in Portland...So somebody obviously sees something in him.

CLo has rightfully grnered big attention, but JJ is a much bigger loss for the program.
