This is great news. Go East!! By the way, I have noticed that the gap between Mia's and Mya's stats have gotten quite close as their marvelous high school season progresses. There are some games in which Mya scores more, hits more threes, has more assists than Mia, whereas earlier in the year Mia seemed clearly dominant. No shade at all about Mia but just to say that Mya is not a tag along. Fun fact: The last game Mia had 5 blocks. That put a smile on my face!

Sounds like Mya’s rehab was a success!

I just can't seem to find the height of these girls. Are any of them true inside type? i.e., tall and solidly built? (not just a big heavily built women)

I was intrigued to see Jaida Civil make the McD AA team. I had a feeling that Mia Pauldo and Deniya Prawl would based on their talent and rankings. I actually think this suggests that we’ll see a bump in Jaida Civil’s current ESPN #32 prospect ranking.
I would not be surprised to see all three prospects end their senior season ranked in Top 10-15. In my opinion, there’s a case for all three to be in the Top 10.

No. They're medium small to very small.

IMO, they may bring in a very athletic post in the portal if one of those rarities is available. But I believe they're chomping at the bit to try the full "system" next year. Positionless, athletic, and dependent on points off defense and shot volume. It will be interesting for sure!

Fair question. Put on the film and don’t let a poster mislead you that has an agenda.

It’s not about a true inside type when majority of WBB is based on the guard and forward positions.

Deniya Prawl is 6’2 and has a solid build. She is lengthy and moves fluidly for a wing with her size. Think Sellers from Maryland and Hall from South Carolina in terms of length but with a wider stature.

Jaida Civil is 6’0 and almost a clone in height and stature to Talaysia Cooper. She is also a physical and aggressive defensive player. She moves with the quickness of Cooper and plays physical like Jordan Horston.

Lauren Hurst is 6’2 and rangy. On all her team photos from the recruiting visit with our current team, you can see she has more height than any of them with the exception of Jillian Hollingshead who is 6’5 and Lazaria Spearman who is 6’4.

I wouldn’t be surprised though to see Hurst grow an inch or two between now and the time she comes to Tennessee. She might be 6’3 next fall.

The Pauldo twins are short at 5’6. There’s a plethora of 5’5 to 5’7 guards in WBB. They are strong and aggressive athletes that can flat out play defense.
Either could step on a college court today and play defense at a high level.

Again, there’s plenty of film. The rankings don’t lie. These five players are bringing unlimited potential to Rocky Top.

Mia and Mya Paulson pg. 5’5”
Deniya Prawl 6’1” Wing
Jaida Civil 6’0” guard
Lauren Hurst 6’2” Wing

None are post type players. But in high school anyone over 6 feet is usually an inside type of player especially on defense! JMO

GBO ‘solid’! Scary hours on Rocky Top.
It was great to see Lauren Hurst and Mya Pauldo supporting their future teammates on this major accomplishment yesterday. Their time is coming.

By the way, the LVs and Stanford had the top number of players on the team with 3 a piece. LSU had 2.
Everyone else had just one player. Obviously, this is good news for us, but I am also happy for Stanford. I thought they were a goner as far as having an elite program.
