Jadyn Davis, Michigan QB

I read we have a 3rd QB. Probably walk on or former walk on...had a white kid sounding name. I dont see the need to bring anyone else honestly. Which ever QB wins QB1 this year...prob Gmac...will have Faizon behind him. If both of those guys manage to get hurt this year and be unable to play....the season is well and truly screwed. It won't matter who gets to stand in there and hand the ball off 50 carries a game while we lose.
It‘a Heupel’s call, if he thinks he can keep his job without a significant portal add at QB, fine.

The level of urgency doesn’t seem to be appropriate for the situation here, from my POV. Maybe they have an ace up their sleeve.

Seriously grades, does any of that matter anymore??? Are they actually required to go to class now
LOL...I mean, seriously...if Pavia can get into Vanderbilt.............

Oh, I forgot...Danny said we still play by the rules.

.....you mean other than the fact that he thought Nico was the franchise QB of the future worthy of investing millions into and that the thought Milton should start over Hooker?
LMAO. When did Milton start a game over Hooker?

Considering something versus actually carrying it out are two separate things. I would expect the staff to consider many different potential lineups based on what they see in practice and games. Actually implementing those lineups in a game situation is something else.

9-2-2021 vs Bowling Green
9-11-2021 vs Pitt - Joe was injured and Hooker came into the game and was the starter after that.
That is correct. I do think that decision gets a bit overblown because it's been said that Milton looks great in practice and Hooker is one of those rarities who doesn't practice like he plays. Staff only had spring and camp to make a decision from and they went with what they'd seen up to that point in a practice setting. Hooker being someone who shines in games isn't necessarily something they could determine ahead of time.

You’re wasting your time. These people have a negative agenda and no amount of reason will sway them.

Everyone who saw practice said Milton by far outperformed Hooker. Cooper Mays was one. But apparently, the coaches were supposed to know that those practice performances weren’t an accurate indicator of how they would perform in games.

Playing the guy who gets drastically outperformed in practice is a great way to lose a team. Fulmer did it by starting Ainge over Clausen in 2005.

I think if David Cutcliffe himself had 15 practices to look at the two of them he would have picked Milton. The difference in raw talent is astounding. You’re right, the agenda runs deep.

Joe's adrenaline was off the charts on gameday. I am convinced that was his issue, because he seemed cool on the sidelines.
