I was looking at a site for meals in Jacksonville and came across this site. You can side-scroll through the various dishes. Personally, I'm partial to wild game dishes but since city antelope, boulevard guinea fowl, and jackalopes either don't exist or are out of season, I'll settle for what's available. Computer acting crazy so hope this post works.

If you’re out on Atlantic Beach, try Singleton’s. It’s a dive seafood shack, but it’s some of the best in America. Be sure and google the hours first, though. I recall that it has strange times.

Will do. But if you see a guy with a porpoise on his shoulder or dragging a springbrook antelope to a butcher shop, that's me.

There's lots of good places for grub in Jax. Just name what kind you like and you'll find it here. I like Bono's, a local place called The Loop, and a place called Hawkers is a real fav and then the Flying Iguana at the beach. Depending on location you're staying at there will be great food choices.

We're staying at the Crowne Plaza about 10 miles north of the stadium. Anyone know of a good restaurant between there and the stadium?

Sliders > Singletons. For a nicer meal try Oceans 60. There is a new spot across from the taco place that has 3 levels. Best cocktails around.

Whataburger!!!

Don't know about now but when I lived in Arizona, Whataburger was the only REAL hamburger far as I was concerned. Big, juicy, flavorful, and cheap. You wouldn't see me in a MacDonalds or any other burger joint back then. Well, in a pinch, you might see me at a rare visit to Sonic, very rare. Been decades since I left Zona so haven't had a Whataburger pleasure since.
