that was a big gain for Jabari's first collegiate rushing attempt. I saw his number and it took me a second to figure out who it was. I wasn't expecting anybody other than Gray/Chandler to be getting any attempts in the first half

Also, I think Hyatt has a high ceiling at Tennessee. Just have to get him targets and I think he'll make plays

I'll admit, I really thought Small was just a package deal to lock down Omari Thomas but I already look way wrong. What an impressive first run.

Hyatt just has the it factor, you can see it already

I was proud to see Jabari pop that one hard in the hole and knock back a defender. He's a good kid from a good family. I've known his dad for many years and he played at Ole Miss. Hope Jabari does well here and we keep that Briarcrest Christian School pipeline open for many years both football and basketball!

Still waiting to see Tee Hodge in the backfield. But with these tough games ahead of the Vols am afraid its going to be a long wait.

I know its way to early....... but J. Small has the size and quickness that Travis Stephens had. I love me some Stephens but when I saw Smalls first run 👀 Flashback

Other than OLine play, Hyatt’s separation speed was the thing that got me most fired up yesterday. As Frank Broyles once said about former Vol Jeff Powell, “when he’s even, he’s leavin’!”

Jabari Small looks for real. Loved seeing his power. Hyatt had a big first catch and will be a good one.
