This is a recruit that we lost this past year to Michigan. He is from South Carolina (J.L. Mann High School) . He committed to us first and then changed his mind. I talked with one of the players that he has remained good friends with from the same high school. He told him that he made a mistake this year by going to Michigan and is transfering to us next year. I know this family real well and I know that he is friends with J.T.

Funny, I was thinking about this kid yesterday and wondering if he had regrets going to UM. Isn't he a WR?

I don't think we want you anymore, we have enough wide receivers who will never see the field. Stay up North, you had your chance.

I remember he's problem was his speed. Well, probably he's better than our walk-ons, so it is reasonable to give him a scholarship

Michigan has him listed as a cornerback, but he hasn't played in a game for them yet. DeAngelo Willingham and Antonio Gaines should be our only notable losses in the secondary for next season, so Floyd would likely be a career-long backup if he transfers here. But more depth is always a good thing.
