J G is the QB we deserve. I enjoyed the win streak ( even though those were all very ave to bad teams). But I knew deep down in my hippocampus that we were not really that good. It was pretty and shiny and distracting, but it was fools gold not real gold. We are a 5-5 team with a lower-standard QB who is like a box of chocolates ( u never know what you' ll get) and fresh milk in the hot sun ( u know it will go bad- it is only a matter of time) . But- 2 pick sixes in one quarter- that separates the run-of-the-mill incompetent from the epically deficient. When you continue to support an inferior product what is the incentive of the manufacturer to make it better? So , let us all celebrate our wins over Indiana, Vandy, etc because that is what we deserve. Go Vols- beat up on those more pathetic than us . We may win another SEC title in this century (maybe).

Harrison Bailey does not deserve to be treated to his first start against Bama. I don't want the young man to get beat to death in his first game let JG get the beating put Bailey in against someone a little less dominant.

Screw that. Gamers want opportunities like this. Put him in and let him grow up! He can take it! Couldn't possibly be worse than JG

Get out of here with that. Casey Clausen’s first start was against Bama. All he did was play his a$$ off and complete passes with his helmet ripped off. If Bailey is the real deal he will embrace the challenge.

If you are worried about that then Bailey isn’t the QB we thought he was. Let Bailey play. Let me get experience. We are gonna get thrashed and our season is dead anyway. Might as well let Bailey take over from here on out and take the good with the bad.

My only concern is that is likely to restrict the play book against the # 2 ranked team in the Country. I think the week off will give him a chance to expand his concept of the offense.

The most unimaginative play calling I have ever seen...Everyone rips slants on us for 7-10 yards on the reg...I guess our TE’s can’t catch...geez

Playbook looks pretty restricted with JG & Shrout. We literally had to stop calling pass plays today vs Kentucky smh.
