It's time to . . .
1. Listen to the coaches (It's a process. Getting back will not happen over night)
2. Listen to the players (They have bought in. Something they never did with Dooley)
3. Listen to the recruits (They loved the game, loved the atmosphere, and love the UT family atmosphere)
4. Quit listening to the negavols! (They don't get it and never will. For them, it is only about wins. However, life isn't just about wins, but how you lose)
5. Quit whining about every little thing (Tickets cost too much, coach called the wrong play, blah, blah)
6. Enjoy the ride (Butch and the boys will be winning soon, the negavols know it, so they must get their complaints in now while they can)

U really believe number 4.. If true an Obama supporter.. Lol

So u have been a happy fan the last eight years.... I've been miserable n ready to win win n win..

I've said all along 7 wins is the bar this year can be anyway he wants to get there but anything less he has underachieved... Imo.


Is expecting 7 wins being negative..

Tickets do cost too much!!!!! The rest I agree with......

even though I liked your post, your wrong about one thing #6. They will always complain about something. some of these yahoo's could win the lottery and still complain about having to pay taxes on it

Lol gonna be off topic here but... How did you start a thread? I've been seeing a few people starting threads with hardly any posts and wondering.

I believe it was arguably, the greatest coach in the history of football, Vince Lombardi, who said quote: "Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing !!!"

Competition is about winning PERIOD !!!

Definitely the most excited/optimistic I have been in the past few years. Butch gets it, and we will be reaping the benefits soon. Love to see him interact with the players. A true players coach. Go Vols!!

Yupppp, riding this high from the glimpse of hope we saw in that second half against Georgia. It's just so great to actually feel that we're heading in the right direction. I really believe that almost every saturday night 2-3 years will feel just as good as when the ball is kicked off.:cool:

Generally speaking I don't, but decided some Vol fans enjoy Tennessee football and would like to discuss the positives once in awhile
