Yesterday's loss to Georgia was very disapointing for the Vol Nation. In the past I have not been one to blame the coaching but the 2005 season has been a sorry showing for the offense. I admire Coach Fulmer for being loyal to Randy Sanders but he has to make a change for the good of this program. IN NO WAY should this offense struggle with the talent they have game after game. The running plays seem to be slow in developing. The passing game will not work if you don't throw the ball down the field. Think back to 4-2 at the 37 yd line against Georgia. We chose to punt even though we had been successful in moving the ball to that point.

Here is my suggestion. Bring Coach Cutcliff back. He is at Notre Dame as an offensive coordinator so he may be willing to come back to UT. With Ainge, Compton and possible Clausen #3 in the future, the Vols need someone who can groom these kids. I don't think Sanders can do this, but Cutcliff could. Don't forget, the Vols were a scoring machine with Cutcliff calling the plays. Keep Sanders in the program if he wants to stay. I don't believe there is a future as long as the staff stays the same.

Cut is no longer at ND. He is actually back in town.

Yeah, he only held the job for a very short time before he had to resign due to health reasons.

Id take coach cutt anyday and twice on sunday, he's a proven commodity because the players trusted him. If his health holds I feel he's a real option as a QB coach.
