I know I watch DB closer than most elite rushers, but it really seems like he is being held at the very least 65% of the time.

That makes his effectiveness even more amazing.

Well I would take either one of them. I think Barnett is a little better because he is stronger and the more physical player. I think both will be solid pro players.

Garrett and maybe even Williams or Allen might get drafted higher, but Barnett will end up being the best pro from this class of D-Ends. Ends who can do everything; set the edge, gap discipline, occasionally drop back in short coverage, instead of just a pure pass rusher, are more valuable in the Shield.

I forgot where it was but I read that one of these Football "Experts" claim that Barnett doesn't have very good bend to get around the edge. Well, all I gotta say is, I don't know which Derek Barnett he has been watching because Barnett can bend with the best of them. In fact it seems that Barnett's best PR move is to bend the edge and over-power the tackle around the corner.
