it's true. When Tennessee has superior talent they win, when the talent is equal or better they lose. Coach Fulmer's greatest strength in the past was recruiting rather than game day coaching. It is obvious to me this is no longer true.
Vinson, Johnson, Heffney, and the entire defensive front are sub SEC level. The coaching staff does not have the vision to overcome this. I doubt Saben, Spurrier, or Bear Bryant could improve these players.
I attended the game today at Alabama and had numerious Tide fans remark to me they had never seen a defense at Tennessee this bad.
I watched Alabama play Ole Miss last weekend and I know their offense is not as good as we made it look.
I don't think the game plan is the problem on offense or defense, we have won in the past with it. We do not have the talent to compete with the players the present staff has recruited.
