since Lane Kiffin has been officially announced as the coach, December 1st. Grade the job he has done since coming here 365 days ago. I give him an B+

Considering the job he's done with what he's had to work with and the turn around of so many players, what other grade can you give but A+? Go Vols...Go CLK et al!!

I guess it's a testament to what he's accomplished in this one year that everyone is so pissed today about getting screwed on our bowl game. Great job by Kiffin and the staff.

7-5 record in the first year despite unreal LB injuries and little depth on both lines and a mentally fractured QB is remarkable.

B+. Still should have won that UCLA game.

U guys are friggin knuckleheads... With the vast, VAST improvement this team has shown over the course of the year, DESPITE player dismissals, injuries, and learning an entire new system with new staff, Lane Kiffin has us on the path to prominence. UT has been everywhere, when have u ever seen a 7-5 team get this much coverage? Recruits are noticing too, top 10 class last year and will have a top 5 this year. Mark it down

No one in the country, not 1 other coach could have done it better, no one. I defy u to argue me on this. He deserves a A++

DC: I agree totally ...no QB recruits in several years, walk-ons on OL...early season injuries to the WR's... Lose 3 LB's to knee injuries...this staff has done one heck of a job with the cards they were dealt by PhatPhill...

I fear next year will be a little rougher since we leaned so heavily on the seniors, but oh, how bright the future looks through my orange tinted glasses!

Weren't you ripping him and Crompton big time? And me for standing up for him a couple of months ago? I believe that you owe Mr. Crompton a MAJOR apology.

Anyways, y'all know me, I give him an A+, considering how bad we felt 366 days ago and how we feel now. If we beat the Hokies, it goes up even more.

A- to B+ range. There is a huge difference with this years team compared to last years. Last years team was 5-7 but maybe a few plays from 7-5, best case scenario. This years team is 7-5 and is only a few plays (or players) from being 9-3 easily, possibly even 10-2. Thats the way I look at it. There is only a two win difference from this year to last, but we are definitely headed in the right direction.
