He is the AD. He chose to not get help with a firm, he would handle it himself... Knowing damn well his plan was to hire Schiano all along. Now that it ain't happening, he's in way over his head. He needs to be held accountable. He's currently flying all over the damn country offering the job to anyone that will take it. It's a complete embarrassment of UT. I don't want to live with whoever this jackass can get to take the job. Fire him now. I don't care if we need to pay someone like Les Miles or even Kiffen to come in here and coach. At this point I'd take it I just wouldn't give them a huge buyout. Fire this dip****!!!

Failed is an understatement. I have never seen a botched coaching search like this from any AD. What a way to end the worst season in UT history. It is beyond repair for him at this point. He should start packing his things immediately after this search is finished.

Some day we will learn a lesson from making the same mistake over and over. We’ve only had 3 ADs who were not former coaches. When you try to hire (and supervise) a position you’ve never done you usually fail. Hamilton, Hart, and now Currie have all failed.
Until we hire a Model AD who takes charge, we will continue to flounder
