It’s here.

Nervously ancious, praying for better results than 2017, but my favorite time of year, Summer's close and Autumn begins.
Tennessee football enters a new era, Only thing missing is my great friends voice to exclaim:
Ladies and gentlemen in Tennessee and all across the Land:
"It's Football time in Tennessee"
Chill bumps and adrenalin!

Happy to get the season going even though we know that Pruitt inherited a dumpster fire from Jones hope is he has at least put that fire out and has improved our team to the point that we can compete for four quarters. If you have a chance to win in the fourth quarter odds are you'll win some of them.

Would anyone have information about the most reputable place to get tickets and when I should purchase them ?! I try and fly home for one game a year, and a group of us usually get together to attend.

The UT ticket office is still selling tickets to the opener in Charlotte with West Virginia, individual games, and two different three game packs. The three game deals are pretty good because they cost about the same as what one ticket to a big game might cost and you can sell the tickets you don't use.

Vivid Seats is the official resale site for UT sports. StubHub is the other major resale site. I have bought and sold tickets on both sites many times and I have always had good experiences.

As for when to buy, it depends on several factors. The games against smaller opponents will always be a pretty good deal - close to or below face value. SEC opponents will cost more and the big games, Florida, Alabama, etc., can cost a lot. How well the team is doing affects the prices. I couldn't go to the Vandy game last year and sold my tickets online for $10 each on the day of the game and felt like I was lucky to get that.

Which brings up another factor - timing. You can usually get a pretty good deal buying early (Florida, Alabama, etc. excluded), but if the Vols are doing well, prices will rise closer to the week of the game. However, if you wait until just before the game, a lot of people will drop their prices just to get rid of the tickets.

Hope that helps.

Country Roads, while a good song, is not even somewhat conducive to a good football setting. Incredibly slow and very low energy.

I think we'll just do Rocky Top by itself and call it good. Rocky Top is by far the better song for a football atmosphere.

Don't run Dana out of town after WVU fails to reach the 8 win mark.

Volunteers and Mountaineers in Charlotte! It can't get any better.

May the best team win, the loser go 11-1 the rest of the season, nobody get hurt and the officials keep the whistles off their lips.

Somebody do a mashup of Rocky Top and Country Roads and strike up the band.

I like the cut of your jib young man.

Go Vols!

I love how UGA is playing a cupcake team while UT is playing a real team for a week one! Shows the difference in the two teams
Doesn’t remotely shown any difference whatsoever imo. Next week when we’re playing ETSU in Neyland, they’ll be traveling to play SCar. Does that show anything?

It does. To schedule a cupcake the first week makes a difference imo
