Our punter will make that thing looks like swiss cheese in warmups. Of course, he won't even get on the field during the game.

Yep, the time will totally be up to ESPN..this is going to be awesome..I wonder if there will be events all week?

I would venture a guess that both Chamber of Commerce are looking at things to do. It's also a great opportunity for the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.

So normally, CBS gets first pick for each weekend's SEC games.

This being the most attractive football game in the SEC (the whole nation, really) that weekend, does that mean we're doomed to it being a 3:30 pm game on CBS?

Or does it being an inter-conference game free us from that contractual requirement?

pretty sure its SEC v. SEC that they get first dibs on, though I could be wrong

I believe those pictures are just renderings from the original press release regarding Colossus

Yeah, they haven't put it up yet. They've got the towers that holds the supports up and should have the 70 ton screen in place before the April race

Actually since it is a neutral site non-conference game it does not fall under contracts of SEC or ACC. So it can go with whoever the organizers of the game want it to. In this case it will be on the ESPN family of networks and honestly I suspect it will be on ABC at 8 p.m.

You guys see that Western Carolina and East Tn are playing at Bristol the next week? That's an odd chain if events. I'm a WCU homer all the way, but not sure I grasp this one. Setting record for most empty seats ever?

Perhaps they will bring in temp seating behind the teams benches
