Can't put my finger on it.

I'm still highly critical of Heupels offense.

Florida is a bad team this year. And yes we absolutely are snake bit by Florida.

But for this season it doesn't matter.
Florida is about to lose by 30 points to us.
It's not something I ever thought I would see!

Our defense is going be lights out. Bru, Tillman and Jalin are going to out on a show.

40-10 Vols 🤔

Why are you highly critical of one of the best offenses in college football?

I agree with everything except in regards to Heups Offense. That Offense is the reason we made a bowl last season and is the reason we will win 9 or 10 games this season. It's feels great to finally be on the cutting edge of football. Our Offense is the future of CFB

We’re loaded with receivers and TEs that can stretch the field. We’re gonna get ours offensively since these guys are big, fast and physical. Our DBs need to show up and have an exceptional game next Saturday.

I know what I'm going to be called but until any and I mean -ANY- Vols football team goes out and puts in 4 quarters against Florida I won't feel a bit of confidence.

We've beaten them 3 times in the last 20 years and only 7 times since 1990. Many of those times we had at least equal teams if not better talent given our players eventual NFL success and a consistent lack of success from Florida.

I'll whole-heartedly agree with you if and when this offense drops 400+ yards and 35-40+ points on UF/UGA/Bama/LSU/Kentucky this year. The rest of the teams are relatively middling and big offensive days against them don't really hold much water.

UK had a better D and overall team last year... The Vols put 461 yds on them.

I'm making no predictions about this year and especially not until we get past UF. UT should win this game.... but they should have won vs UF in the past and didn't.

Not gonna get called out. There's a whole lot of us in that camp. I look at the last 30 years against those guys and it's almost inconceivable that we have so few wins.

You know why I think we will NOT be snake bitten with FL this year?

COACHING

We have been snake bitten because of the mental state that our coaches have put into the players (OK, maybe a little oversimplification). But I think Hype and Co have been grooming our guys to have the right mentality no matter who we play and I think it will show Saturday. That doesn't mean we won't lose to superior talent (although upsets happen), but I think the days of losing to similar or worse talented Gators because of mental fears is over.
