yeah, even though Blacksburg is a couple hours south, this area is permeated with maroon & orange. Even though Charlotesville is only an hour away, sometimes it seems like the ratio of Tech fans to Cavalier fans is like Vols to Commodores in east TN. I guess that's understandable though..it's a bandwagon thing.

this biggest game for me since I live in Bham and have to deal with stupid bama fans on daily basis..

I here ya I live in this state too and have to listen to them every day it gets old...so I was reading the Bham news this morning and Nick Saban said of the Ole Miss fans throwing stuff onto the field

"There is no class in that," Saban said. "I just want our players to represent the university with class. If (Ole Miss fans) want to be classless, that's their business."

so what does he think of the Bama fans throwing glass bottles on UGA players after they won in T-town??

LOL, that's funny. You must have spent some time in this dump. I was Navy until 2004. We hope to move back somewhere south soon.

lol yeah i was in the navy till 2006, stationed out of damneck with one of the teams....hated having to go to norfolk though man....that place was a serious hole....

I like VA Beach even less. Way too much traffic out there. Come to think of it, the traffic is bad throughout Hampton Roads. I'd rather sit home and watch my grass grow than try to drive through these tunnels around here.

I may be wrong, but I think he's trying to say it's funny that you, a Kingsport resident, would speak about VT fans as if you deal with them daily. Maybe you do, though, and he doesn't know it. Either way, he's apparently pretty easily entertained. :)
