how good LeBron James looks compared to Dwight Howard in terms of handling their situations. Good God, what a trainwreck.

As bad as the Howard situation is, it doesnt even come close to making Lebron's fiasco look any better than hot garbage.

Howard's situation has gone from bad to really, really bad. Lebron's situation didn't drag out for well over a year. It didn't spread
Like cancer throughout the entire organization.

It was a one hour debacle, not a continuing circus show.

I don't think the two are even comparable.

Dwight will slowly replace LeBron as public enemy #1, especially if he (LeBron) continues to play well and win.

I think so, too. But I don't think most would agree.

I've seen people (myself included) that have got over lebron now that he's delivered a championship as the centerpiece of a team.

I'm hard pressed to think of a player with more ill will than dwight.

I don't care for Howard, but this situation doesn't really bother me. You can't really expect there not to be drama around these elite players and elite paychecks.

That happens, but Dwight's childishness has reached hitherto unbeknown levels.

It's not just Howard though, the Magic front office has to shoulder some of the blame as well. They've wet the bed just as much as he has.

I don't blame him for wanting out but much like LeBron, he's going about it the wrong way.

Lord help the NBA if he ends up in purple and gold.

I'll take him over Bynum, but they're both immature. Dwight's value is so great because of the lack of good centers in the league right now, not because he's one of the best of all time.

I'm not gonna lie, I have been aware of this situation, but I didn't really think it'd stir up this kind of reaction. Is it really that bad? Honest question, not trying to be smart.

I know I'm biased but this has gotten to the point where it's worse than the Lebron hoopla from two summers ago IMO. And like GahLee said above, both sides are at fault. They tried way too hard to satisfy a guy who has proven to be a total phony and coward. He completely nuked any hope of a good season with his diva antics, and pretty much forced SVG (who, although some might not agree, is a damn good coach IMO) out all the while knowing that he had no intention of staying in Orlando. He was trying to protect his image by doing this behind the scenes but now just looks like a total ass.

The Lakers is the only reasonable place for him to land IMO... Lakers fans can talk themselves into liking anybody. He's a pariah in Orlando and pretty much universally disliked.

That was him getting dragged to new York by the ear. His wife is one of those broads who can't tell the vast expanse of land between new York and Los Angeles apart from Alabama or north Dakota.

I know I've said this before, I believe what a player does on the basketball court reflects their personality moreso than any other sport.

That said, his game to me is indicative of his ego, one that was too big for Denver.

I'm sure LaLa wanted to be back in NY but so did he.
