With our program. How many years did the defense allow us to be competitive when we had zero running game and/or the woeful J. Crompton at QB?

Now we have an offense capable of scoring but the most pathetic defensive secondary I have ever seen.

Someone (Fulmer?) must have made a pact with the devil for 1998. We have zero luck go our way and there is always a major piece of the puzzle missing.

Can it be fixed?
If so, who and WHEN?

This can't go on or the economy of east Tennessee will suffer with the rank and file fan.

As David Keith said, this is the most important unimportant thing for thousands of people, not to mention a source of income for thousands in the State of Tennessee.

If we are winless in the SEC what happens?

Yeah it's always something. When we do score I'm thinking that a late flag will be thrown & holding will be called on us bringing us back. I guess that's because all the bad breaks that we have had for the last couple of years with this team. And when we play a good game like today, just at the last moment when it looks like we are going to upset USC, our best left tackle got beat by the DE who he blocked ALL day to save our QB from a sack. Just sucks but life goes on...play & beat the next team on the schedule.
