It wasn't FL that beat us...it was us.

FL did not play us as tough as I would have imagined. They capitalized on our mistakes. You will never win when you give FL 30 yards based on penalties. All on stupid stuff that should never have happened. Missed and dropped passes are not good either. Any team that is close to FL's level will be hard for us to beat. They will readily see our weaknesses and take full advantage.

I was literally thinking the exact same thing just now.

I mean the poor execute, overthrows (still), drops, ridiculous amount of penalties. Heupel and Co actually called a great game but he's gotta get the team locked in when it comes to execution and being discipline. We could have won this game.

I mean.....here's some math for you:

Already thin roster + dropped passes + untimely penalties + missed field goals = Loss 100% of the time.

I'm disappointed at the penalties on the offensive line. I would have hoped by game #4 we would have them cleaned up.

I'm disappointed by our wide receivers inability to catch passes at critical times.

But overall, I recognize this team just doesn't have a large margin of error for mistakes and injuries.

The absolute best thing that can happen to Tennessee Football right now is that the NCAA approved teams filling spots to make up for what they lost in the transfer portal. I feel like our lack of depth really really showed today.

Florida is just a better team right now. We played well for a while. Too many mistakes and penalties again. And I think the defense got worn down in the second half due to lack of depth. Just the way it is right now. Overall I believe the team is better prepared than I’ve seen since Kiffin’s one season.

I agree. We always make stupid mistakes that cost us and change momentum. Our QB situation is the most hindering thing right now, and execution on offense.

Good teams find a way to win, bad teams find a way to lose.

No Florida beat us!

Our mistakes cost us the Pitt game; the Florida loss was due to being outmanned. We gave them our best shot which is clearly not good enough. Florida is a much better team right now.

Sorry but false starts, 9 players on the field for a return, and balls bouncing off receivers hands have nothing to do with the Gators talent level.

Tennessee certainly made their mistakes.

Tennessee certainly could have made things much tighter.

But Florida beat Tennessee. They wore Tennessee down and beat them.

Florida started with more than Tennessee has……then the longer it goes the back up situation is even worse.

Make no mistake……the longer it went to more Florida imposed their will.

Could have…..maybe should have been tighter……but right now…..Tennessee is going to Tennessee and make those dumb mistakes.
