which college coach's current situation most mirrors Fulmer's. It's Maryland basketball coach Gary Williams. Both are alums of the school they are coaching.. Both have has tremendous past success, including a National Championship. Both now have sinking programs that appear to be beyond repair.

I think so. I think Gary Williams is a fabulous coach. That said, I don't see any chance they make the NCAA Tournament this season.

I met him once. Most say he is a tool. He was actually nice to me. I lived in reston virginia for eight months. I went to several games there. They're passionate basketball fans.

Gary's an intense guy. I've run across him a few times. He's been both a complete ass and a total pleasure to be around.

Both programs still have their moments. They are just way too few and far between.

No, he got the Buckeyes back on their feet and set the stage for the really good years at the start of Randy Ayres's tenure.

But then Ayers seemed more interested in living it up off the court than continuing to put a quality team out there.
