Looking forward to a good game, Vols fans!! Still trying to get tickets...

The skinny on us: the offense is as good as any in the country, the defense is talented but inexperienced. We will score a lot of points, but so will you.

Pretty much as expected.

Has all the makings of a 42-33 type of game.

Which is why it will be 24-10.

...and you've gleaned all of that from those 2 hard hitting opponents you've faced so far? :p

Western Kentucky came back and laid 80+ points on someone. I don't think UT could do that, no matter who the opponent.

@ UF's got shocker written all over it...and I don't mean the Gators scoring 100+ pts...:yes::rock:

clearly we've played 2 quality opponents...clearly, the Gators have played 2 games of parcheesi...

It matters not.

I am quite confident that the Gators are going to light things up next weekend. I amn sure the Vols will score, as well.

I think UT loses a high scoring game, something on the order of:

Florida 40 somthing pts
Tennessee 30 something pts

I think the impression our D is slow is a reaction by the team to the Cal game.

One of the D players said earlier in the week that part of their problem was that they concentrated so much on getting to the ball fast that their mechanics sucked when they got there.

This week they seemed to go a little far in the opposite direction, at least in the 1st half.

I was really encouraged by the half-time adjustments we made, and am alot more confident about our chances of making a game of it in the Swamp. Particularly since, as LG said, their D is inexperienced, yet haven't had the benefit of tough opponents and a whole butt-load of getting embarassed 1 1/2 games in a row like ours have.
