Me too, but I love it. And I it seems im one of the few that feel very good about our coaches. U.Meyer and B.Kelly were virtually unkowns like B.Jones. I like this guy's fire, to already be in on so many top recruits in such a short period of time, im excited about our future. Hearing recruits make comments like its an awesome place and yoi can tell there gonna be winning a lot there soon! Theres something in the air at Tenn now thats been missing for a long while. Lets just sit back and enjoy what I think CBJ and staff are going to do!

Truthfully, after being sucked into the Gruden threads, I just don't put much value in what anyone says on this board. I check in occasionally just to try and get a vibe with where we are with a prospect and to see if someone has committed. The "insider" is now a non-existent entity...no one on here really knows much of anything at all...that's ok...it is just a reality. This is entertainment after all.

wow, im not that bad. you wrote that like it sucked life out of you. but this site is the best place to go on news on UT, however, most of the time there isnt news on UT

didn't suck life out of me...I enjoyed it at the time...but it made things very clear for me regarding message boards...I'm not getting emotionally invested on this site again because the majority of the information is inaccurate. So many "reputable" posters claiming Gruden was done....so many "respected" posters were flat out wrong...possibly some of them trolling...it's best to not get too caught up with this stuff...especially at the expense of other things you could/should be doing.

Dude NSD is in less that 2 weeks. It is not like it is June. Most of the verbals are solid by this time.

I used to agree with you, insofar as this site being a good place to get news. I have learned that volnation is a great place to get gossip repackaged as "insider info" or to read what other news sources or message boards say about a topic. With that understanding, I admit I usually enjoy the gossip. I just can't look at this place the same way since the coaching rumor fiascos.

The average fan could potentially act intelligent, positive and polite on Internet message boards, thus creating a positive image for the university and helping recruiting. But that ship has sailed a long time ago.

The guys who commit tend to sign on signing day.

The people who sign on signing day are usually on the field.

People on the field go a long way to determining who wins and loses.
