well we lost our first game of the year. its not all that bad. We can get a look at our weaknesses and improve upon then for when we get ready to play Southern Miss. Then Fla, cause you cant look past southern miss. Our offense played well, we had some problems with special team coverage and a few things here and there. we dont suck as some people have stated. Ainge played well with the messed up pinky, the no huddle worked well. So as i tell my players after a loss, we look at what we did wrong, improve and get ready to play again. I mean at least we arent in lloyd carr's position. I mean loosing to App? I went to Georgia Southern, and we play ap every year and its usually a good game either way, but to be the number 5 team in the nation, and just get worked during the whole game, come on.

Saying we had some problems on special teams is like saying the Titanic had some problems with an iceburg.

The Southern Miss defense will provide a much better test for our offense and they have the talent at runningback to keep them in the game if our defense doesn't tackle better.

don't count on Fulmer and Co. to make the necessary adjustments to improve upon UT's weaknesses. In the past, they've adopted the Novocaine approach of give it time, it'll eventually work. Unfortunately, that method hasn't worked in nearly a decade.

The new kickoff line played a big part in this game. Hopefully we can get used to it and adjust for the Gators.

Going to be hard to get used to when you have a kicker barely worthy of a scholarship kicking off for you. Until Colquitt gets fully healthy and assuming he kicks off, we're going to continuously have people starting off on the 40.

Seriously...even kicking off from the old spot, I don't think we would have had a single touchback. I think the deepest kick was to the 10

I just hate the the NCAA feels the need to keep tinkering w/ a game that is already great. Last year it was running the clock at the COP. Now it's a new line. It's getting hard to keep up.

Even when the ball was moved to the 35 yard line Lincoln still only kicked it to the 10 yard line. It was awful to watch.

The new clock rules were garbage. I'm glad that didn't last.
