While we are on the subject of PWO s, my neighbor kid just signed a letter of intent with UT. He is supposed to report to the athletic dorms in June of this year. I think he said he will be red shirted his first year.
He is an offensive lineman but, played both sides of the ball in high school. He is 6` 7" and weighs 315 pounds now.
He hails from NE Tn.
We wish him the best. We know his blood is orange.

All I know, is a good QB can make a WR look good, and a good WR can make a QB look good. In this case, I am betting QB not that good............jmo

I’m not seeing much on tape. Career 5 catches for 87, one of those being a 63 yard screen pass for a TD. He looks fast. 6-3, 205 is good size. I trust Chaney on WRs and QBs until proven otherwise

This kid looks like a good PWO. Maybe we are just highlighting it more but we seem to have some really good PWOs coming in.

Too Tall ;) - but seriously, what rock has this guy of yours been hiding under with that stature and him not be a scholly player. That is a HUGE guy, much less to be only 18. Are you SURE those numbers are right or is this a blue font post?

So lets make it official? This kid is the next in line to pick up the mantle left by Paul Bain and Rod Wilks.

This is on the level.
The local news did a piece on him a few weeks back. Live interview. Yes he is 6`7" and 315 pounds.
In the interview, it showed him signing the form and putting on a VOL cap. The young man said he attended some sort of camp at UT and Pruit gave him some words of encouragement.
Don`t know the details of why, or why not. This is all I know.
I`m under the impression that a red shirt freshman can play in four regular season games. Don`t know if this is true or not.
